About

“Information and Communication Technologies in Business and Education” is an international scientific conference dedicated to the 55th anniversary of the Department of Informatics at the University of Economics – Varna. We encourage submission of high quality papers describing recent scientific and practical developments in the field of information and communication technologies, information systems, and their applications in business and education.

The following is a non-exhaustive list of topics for which the Programme Committee is particularly seeking contributions: databases, information systems and their integration in different areas, Big data, artificial intelligence, incl. machine learning, blockchain technology, e-business, Internet of Things, cybersecurity, mobile technologies, cloud technologies, social media, e-Learning, etc.

Best paper award

In each section of the conference, the editorial board will award the best paper of the young scientists who took part and presented their scientific research to the audience.

The Editorial Board will take the following criteria into account when determining the nominations:
• The paper was presented during the conference;
• Relevance of the topic and interest of the participants in the conference;
• The author/s conducted an experiment or own research;
• The research results are shaped according to the requirements for quality scientific research, including supported by graphs / tables.
